Bright Obeng, the driving force and lead headhunter at Key Figures, is a former senior finance professional with 15 years of experience in finance. Bright combines his years of experience in finance with his proven track record in finance headhunting. The CFO Podcast, created specifically for CFOs and Finance Directors in Flanders, is also hosted by Bright.
Bright’s discreet approach, with signed NDAs (non-disclosure agreements) from all parties, coupled with a highly streamlined process in which discretion is 100% guaranteed, ensures an efficient selection process.
To guarantee the highest quality for both our clients and candidates, Bright works on a maximum of 12 search mandates per year and never more than two at a time.
All search mandates are exclusive and retained only. Bright does NOT work on a “no cure, no pay” basis.
Who is Bright Obeng?
Bright is a former finance professional who entered headhunting after nearly 15 years of experience in various roles within finance (audit, accounting, controlling (ranging from financial controlling, factory controlling, business controlling to investment controlling)). As an entrepreneur, Bright has founded three companies in HR:
- Key Figures, executive search met 100% focus op CFO's in België.
- Finance Figures, finance recruitment to help the CFO attract top finance profiles
- Bright is also co-founder of the company Uptime HR, which recruits operational and tactical profiles for its clients in manufacturing, logistics, finance, and administration.
- Bright is the host of The CFO Podcast, the benchmark podcast for CFOs in Flanders.
Bright is from the Kempen region with Ghanaian roots who came to Belgium at the age of 14 and learned Dutch in less than a year. With a master’s degree in Finance & Accounting, he has worked in various companies.
Bright lives in the Kempen region, is married, and has two children. In his limited free time, he is an attic drummer and terrible pianist 😊, an avid podcast listener, and a big fan of stand-up comedy and music (from old Ghanaian jazz to death metal).
